The mission of Project Wrap is to provide convenience, accessibility and accommodations to both career seekers and employers by integrating specific employment requirements into education and training programs. We believe that coordination of knowlegde, skills and job responsibilities (specific to the employer) will produe gainful employment outcomes by increasing workers' longevity on the job, heightening their ability to earn competitive wages, thus, contributing to a healthier local economy.
Answer. An Employment Partner agrees to hire apprentices for the purpose of providing on-the-job learning (OJL) experiences in the studied occupation. The required term of experiential training is a minimum of 2,000 hours or 1 year*, depending on the basis of the occupational training program. During the OJL period, the Employment Partner will offer guidence and mentoring to apprentices as they become fully acclumated with day-to -day operating procedures related to the job. Project Wrap works with Employment Partners to build Work Process Schedules (WPS) which outline the duties to be performed by apprentices.
Answer. As an Employment Partner of Project Wrap, you will be able to select from our pool of eligible canditates. This reduces the HR related hassel of shuffling thru resumes and evaluating candidate suitability, though you will be able to interview our top picks.
Once on-boarded, Project WRAP maintains the employee personnel file, preserving documents that will be useful to your company during tax season, as tax credits are available to all employment partners
In order to reduce payroll costs associated with becoming an employment partner, apprentice wages can be both subsidized and reimbursed! This is also true for Incumbant Worker Training. We'll train your current staff and assist with additional payroll costs that may be incurred.
As with Related Technical instruction (RTI), provided by our partners in education, WPS are fully customizable to your place of employment, which eliminates any preconceptions or misdirection of apprentices that might be picked up in any prior work experiences.
Answer. Unlike staffing agencies or other forms of outsourcing, there is no cost to particpate in Project WRAP.

Answer. Related Technical Instruction is provided by Certified Allied Healthcare instructors at ACC Career Training Institute in accordance with industry standard curricula and intermediary guidence. Stidents will recieve high-level classroom instruction as well as practical hands-on training to prepare them for field operations. In a competency based program, apprentices are required to successfully master all skills listed on the WPS to be considered for incremental wage increases.

Answer. There are very few risks to hiring an apprentice. During the term of apprenticeship, active apprentices are covered on a clinical insurance plan carried by our partners in education. This coverage includes and liabilty and malpractice listed under the inclusive policy details.
EEO and affirmatiove action clauses are included in each apprentice file, by the program sponsor.
